As a Commentator you would greet the parish family before the Mass is celebrated. This role also includes: preparing yourself for the Responsorial Psalm, the Offertory Petitions and the Announcements.

As a Lector you would prepare yourself to proclaim the Work of God (the 1st and 2nd readings: from the Old Testament and New Testament).
